Fossil ammonite pendant necklace with presentation box - Ammonites were a group of marine mollusks that lived in the world's oceans for approximately 140 million years, from the Devonian period (around 400 million years ago) to the end of the Cretaceous period (around 66 million years ago).

These creatures are perhaps most famous for their spiral-shaped, coiled shells, which are often found as fossils in sedimentary rock formations. Ammonites were closely related to modern-day cephalopods, such as squids and octopuses.

PRODUCT CARE

Mix two tablespoons of gentle dishwashing liquid with one quart of warm water. Submerge your jewellery in this solution for 10 to 20 minutes to loosen any residue and grime. Using a soft-bristled brush, delicately scrub the jewellery. Finally, rinse thoroughly with fresh water and gently pat dry using a clean cloth.
