Níðhöggr Serpent Pendant

Handcrafted in Sweden using traditional Swedish artisan techniques, this pendant is a representation of Nidhögg from Norse mythology. Níðhöggr is a dragon who gnaws at a root of the world tree, Yggdrasil. Níðhöggr is mentioned in various Old Norse texts, including the Prose Edda and the Poetic Edda, serving as a reminder of the impermanence of the world and the cyclical nature of creation and destruction.

Each pendant is hand forged by a blacksmith so sizes may vary.

The pendant has a protective coating of linseed oil, however, try to avoid exposure to water and moisture. It is advisable to periodically reapply a protective layer of oil or wax.
